The common and scientific name of the disease.
The common name of my disease is Tumor while the scientific name for my disease is Neoplasm

What causes it?
Tumor is when a abnormal amount of tissues and cells begin to grow, it's the growth of this clone of cells exceeds, and it doesn't coordinated with, that of the normal tissues around it. When the growth persists in the same excessive manner even after cessation of the stimuli. It usually causes a swelling lump or a Tumor. So Tumor is usually caused by a problem with the dividing of cells in the body or changes in DNA sequence of a cell's genome. Normally, the division of cells in the body is controlled. New cells are created to replace older ones or to perform new functions. Cells that are damaged or no longer needed die to make room for healthy replacements. But If the balance of cell division and death is disturbed, a tumor may form.

What are the symptoms? How long do they last? Is it deadly?
The symptoms can be easily mistaken with normal bumps and swelling that are caused by bumps and bruises. The symptoms of Tumor depend on the type and location of the tumor. Like lung tumors may cause coughing, shortness of breath, or chest pain, while tumors of the colon can cause weight loss, diarrhea, constipation, iron deficiency anemia, and blood in the stool.
Some of the tumors produce no visible symptoms, but possible symptoms that may occur with tumors might include: Chills, Fever, Loss of appetite, Night sweats, Weight loss

Can it be cured? If so, how? If not, is there any way that we can at least treat it?
Yes Tumor can be cured but sometimes, if the tumor is discovered a little late and the tumor is located somewhere in your body that is not safe like the brain or the lungs it can cause some permanent damage to your body organs. Treatment also are different based on the type of tumor and the tumor’s location. If the tumor is benign (meaning it has no potential to spread) and is located in a "safe" area where it will not affect the function of body organs, sometimes no treatment is needed.
Sometimes benign tumors may be removed, however. Benign tumors of the brain may be removed because of their location or harmful effect on the surrounding normal brain tissue.
If a tumor is malignant, treatments include: surgery, radiation, chemotherapy or combination of these methods.
